Exeller, the spirit of a Highest who has fallen to hell, now responsible for his universe’s nightmares.

Respiro, the evil counterpart of Rovina who possessed protagonists from franchises… in a .EXE file.

EXE games, they were popular in the early 2010s and are still popular to this day, though they don’t focus on the story. Meanwhile, these two antagonists come from 2010s EXE games that not only focuses on gameplay, but story as well, but who would win in a fight? Well, let’s find out in a DEATH BATTLE!

BEFORE WE START

For Exeller, we will be using Spirits of Hell, the Prophecy Whispers of Soul, and statements from Dan the Patient Bear. We will also be using the Sonic’s origin from the Sonic Bible, Sonic 1, 2 (both the regular and 8-bit version), CD, and 3 & Knuckles as they’re all referenced in the Memory Fragments from Whispers of Soul.

For Respiro, we will be using AWHOLENEWORLD.EXE, the TOYSTORY.EXE trilogy, both Sonic.EXE Creepypasta Remakes, and Oldum77.EXE. Statements from Oldum77, Aladdin, Toy Story 1 and all Sonic game up to Sonic Rush will also be used, as the Aladdin and Toy Story 1 take place before the games, and Blaze has a connection with Cream, which would only work if Sonic Rush happened.

It should be mentioned that we will be using all endings for both and Respiro will be given all of the vessels he has controlled, just to make things more interesting (and even then, in the case of Exeller, all endings have technically happened).

BACKGROUND

EXELLER

Highests, beings that guard Mobius, being responsible for the killings of demons corrupting it, and everytime Mobius is corrupted, it gets reset. There are four classes of Highests, with one of them being the zero class, a class born every 100,000 years. They’re the most powerful class but suffer from raging problems and having a thirst of killing. Exeller was apart of the class, and while he would’ve been killed, he was spared as his soul was connected to another Highest named Alice, if he died, she would die as well. Which is why everyone was lied to, believing he was a third class like Alice.

Growing up, Exeller would become friends with the rest of the third class, including Laura, who would kiss him. However, this broke a rule that Highests could not have a romantic relationship, so she was punished and would die as she would be infected from her miss with Exeller. How did Exeller curse Laura? Well, turns out Exeller was a curse known as “the person with the red eyes”, though unfortunately no one knew what the curse was about. Exeller was greatly affected by her death and when he was told the truth about his origin by his spirit of destiny named Rikku, Exeller killed him, allowing him to “write” his own destiny. After all of that, Exeller would go in a rampage, killing a lot of Highests, including the King himself, but he fell of a cliff due to being shot in head by a Highest named Rexer, causing him to be in the world of Mobius. This lead to Exeller’s physical body disappearing, but somehow, his soul was fine.

After taking over Sonic’s body, Exeller would send clones of himself to kill Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman and go hunt down the runes, and did so. Due to tiny wimey bullshit, there were a lot of outcomes to this event, some survived, some died, or all died, but due to the cast probably having of déjà vu’s and being smart, all of them survived, fighting and defeating Exeller, even when he was in his dark rune form. But it was too late, turns out he was hunting down the cast because they were for a ritual that also included the Master Emerald, and when the cast confronted Exeller, it began, sending the cast and Exeller to Illusion World. In there, the cast would read diaries about themselves and teamed up to fight Exeller in one final battle. Once Exeller is defeated again, but (for some reason) he is fine with it and even answers some questions from Sally. Once all questions were answered, everyone goes back to Mobius and Sally sees Exeller out of Sonic’s body and in his own body. This is the end of the Spirits of Hell series, as Dan the Patient Bear would stop making EXE games, so sorry to those who liked it, but we’re stuck with a cliffhanger forever.

RESPIRO

Respiro, the entity of evil and malice who was the evil counterpart to Rovina. He was a scourge but was luckily banished to the underworld by a sultan. However, he would be freed by the Peddler, except he needed more power, so the Peddler also offered him a host, Aladdin. Respiro would try to make Aladdin let him be possessed, but Aladdin refused and defeated Respiro. So Respiro decides to travel to another universe to find another body, which ended up being the Toy Story universe, where he’d posses Woody and almost took over the universe, but still lost.

So Respiro would travel to another universe AGAIN and possessed a person there, that ended being the Sonic universe where Respiro would posses Sonic, and this time, he actually won. He killed 6 of Sonic’s friends and turned them into minions, taking over the world with their help. Once all of that happened, Respiro sent his minions to invade Aladdin and the Toy Story universe, causing a bunch of people to be killed. However, Aladdin and Woody would go to Sonic’s universe and team up with Blaze to fight Respiro. While Respiro would be defeated, a ritual was being performed and worked, allowing Respiro to absorb Rovina’s power and try to possess Oldum77, so he can delete the game they were in. Despite this, the trio would go through the code of the game to be in the central database and confront Respiro, getting powered by Rovina’s energy, leading to a fight,

And after all of that, Respiro would get weakened by a LOT, allowing Rovina to merge with him, causing the death of both and the game, though before they died, Rovina opened a portal for the trio to escape elsewhere. And that is the end of Oldum77’s weird .EXE Saga.

EXPERIENCE & SKILL

EXELLER

Exeller is definitely skilled. Growing up, he had good grades and in his rampage, he killed a lot of Highests, including the King. Not just that, but he’s able to catch people off-guard and his disguise as Sonic pretty good, even fooling people who are close to him like Tails or Amy.

RESPIRO

Respiro is somewhat skilled. He was a scourge before he got banished and when he returned, he almost took over the Aladdin and Toy Story universe, and even though he was defeated, he went after the Sonic universe (which is the strongest universe out of the three) and took over it. He’s also smart, as he used Cream as bait to make Blaze mad, allowing Rovina’s power in Blaze to be absorbed.

EQUIPMENT

EXELLER

REGULAR RING

Exeller uses a regular ring to kill a flicky in the beginning of Spirits of Hell. He also throws them at Tails in the boss fight of the Tails Solo Ending.

RED RINGS

Exeller throws a red ring at Tails in the Duo Ending for Tails & Knuckles. These rings give people illusions. They also are in the Robotnik base Knuckles explored in.

POWER SNEAKERS (DEBATABLE)

Just like “Sonic” (A.K.A Exeller) says, Power Sneakers make whoever destroys them faster. While we never see him use it, it’s most likely that the ones Cream destroys were placed by him.

BIG RED SPIKEBALL

Exeller throws a big red spikeball in the final boss of Whispers of Soul in the True Ending.

RESPIRO

ALADDIN’S SWORD

As Aladdin.EXE, Respiro uses the same sword Aladdin uses.

GUN

Respiro uses a gun to shoot off Rex’s head.

KITCHEN KNIFE

Kitchen knives are thrown at Mr. Potato, which is most likely done by Respiro, though it’s unconfirmed. HOWEVER, he still should have them in his arsenal as right afterwards, two headless Woodys use them.

YO-YO

Respiro uses a yo-yo to attack Rocky when he has to escape a room full of gas.

BOMB

Respiro throws bombs in the boss fight of TOYSTORY2.EXE.

HAMMER

When transforming into Amy, Respiro uses the hammer she uses.

BIG ROCKS

When transforming into Knuckles, Respiro summons a bunch of big rocks.

BUZZSAWS

Respiro throws buzzsaws in the final boss fight with him in TOYSTIRY3.EXE.

ABILITIES

EXELLER

POSSESSION

While without a body, Exeller can take over the body of other people.

SOUL MANIPULATION

If Exeller has a person’s soul, he can bring them back from the dead, through light or dark magic. Light magic causes the dead to be revived as how they normally were, but dark magic causes the dead to be revived as minions under Exeller’s control. He can also use souls offensively, as seen in the boss fight against Alice.

FLIGHT

Despite Exeller “not being like all the other EXEs” he can fly just like them.

TELEPORTATION

Like with flight, Exeller can teleport like all the other EXEs.

TIME MANIPULATION

So you know how the Spirits of Hell series is known for its multiple endings? Well, all of them are canon, as the timeline gets reset after each ending, and it is sometimes done by Exeller, though it causes people to have a déjà vu. He can also stop time, usually doing to kill people instantly.

DUPLICATION

Just like what Exeller says in the image above, he can create physical duplicates of himself, though he has to use a lot of energy doing so.

MINIONS CREATION

Exeller can create minions to help him if he has no one to revive as minions. More information about the minions can be found in the Support section.

PROJECTILE STUFF

Exeller can shoot many, MANY types of projectiles, examples include small orbs, big orbs, big lasers, small lasers, long lasers, small lasers, whatever the projectile in the image above should be called, and many more.

WATER MANIPULATION

Exeller can manipulate water as he summons a tidal wave to chase Knuckles in the echidna’s Solo Ending.

EXTRA SENSES

Just like what Exeller says in the image above, he can feel everything in Mobius ~~(wonder if that includes people having freak-offs)~~.

BODILY WEAPONRY

Just like the average Sonic character, Exeller can use his body as a weapon. The most notable example of this is in the boss fight against Alice, where Dropdash is one of the abilities he can use.

ENERGY SHIELD

Exeller can create an energy shield for himself that protects him against attacks, but not all of them.

TELEKENESIS

Exeller can use telekinesis on people, being able to make them stay in-place or move them around.

BFR

Exeller can teleport people to other places, such as when he teleported Sally to Volcano Valley.

MIND/PERCEPTION MANIPULATION/ILLUSION CREATION

Exeller tried to make Tails go insane in his Solo Ending in Whispers of Soul by making his perception of Green Hill be different and have some characters appear when they’re not actually there, though the latter could be a use of Exeller making illusions, as that is a ability he has. It should be noted that if Exeller messes with a person’s head for too long, they will bleed and die.

FLAME MANIPULATION

Exeller kills Knuckles in the Ceam & Knuckles Duo Ending by setting him on fire ~~(also, Knuckles, why are you trying not to laugh bro😭)~~.

NON-PHYSICAL INTERACTION

Exeller should be able to interact with non-physical things as Tails and Sonic (the one he’s controlling) can disrupt ghosts in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

4TH WALL AWARENESS

Exeller throughout the series has been shown to be able to interact with the player, such as when he talks to us if we try to get the Best Ending before all of the other endings in Whispers of Soul. He can also cause the Continue title to drop on Amy.
